KAPE is now accepting Intent to Apply Forms for the 2015 KAPE Awards Process. Completed forms must be postmarked by January 5 2015. Organizations from all sectors can apply (including government agencies). Forms and guidance for submitting an application are now available on the Downloads & Forms page on the KAPE website.
All applicants will be evaluated rigorously by an independent board of examiners in seven areas defined by the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence: leadership; strategic planning; customer focus; measurement, analysis and knowledge management; workforce focus; operations focus; and results. While KAPE’s process is modeled after the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, our process is not about winning an award. It’s about using the Baldrige Criteria and performing low-cost, non-prescriptive assessments to address an organization’s unique challenges.
Good news for all organizations is that application fees for the 2015 Award cycle will remain at 2014 levels. The fees, which were established based on benchmarks of other state quality programs, are listed on the Application Levels page on the KAPE website.
Application submissions must be postmarked or consigned to a shipper by March 16, 2015.
